Birthday Cake and Naughtiness

Once upon a time, there was a very good mamma, who made her Roo a beautiful chocolate 17th birthday cake.
That night, the family had a party, and ate some of the cake, but they didn't eat all of it.  They didn't give any to their dog, because "Chocolate isn't good for puppy dogs." This made their dog mad and sad.  They stored the leftover cake in the microwave over night to keep it safe from their poor, innocent puppy.  This just made her madder and sadder.
The next morning, her Tigger removed the cake from the microwave the make the dog oatmeal for breakfast, and set it on the counter.  She made the dog breakfast, and fed her.  She neglected, however, to put the cake back in the microwave.  Because she was a studious Tigger, she went upstairs to print something for school.  She heard dishes being rattled in the kitchen, and went to investigate, because she knew that Rosie her dog was the only person in the kitchen.  This is what she saw...

Yes, that poor, mad, sad dog, finally got her just desserts.  Her humans yelled at her, the poor thing, and she was sad and depressed ALL DAY. The moral of the story- always share dessert with your precious pooch.

Roo says: Yes, Rosie stole some birthday cake. Yes, she got in trouble. And yes, she deserved to get in trouble.  Consuming chocolate can be fatal for dogs. If you make a vanilla cake with vanilla frosting, feel free to share it with your dog.  If there is chocolate, DON'T.  Thankfully, Rosie suffered no ill effects. :)

Funny, Rosie. This sounds familiar. Not like a dog we know would EVER do anything like this..............
