My Anniversary

At long last Roo has (with help from Tiggy) hunted down my baby book and gotten pictures from the first days that I lived here, with the most awesome family in the world. Look how I've grown since then....

Here's to 6 more wonderful years!

A Good Anniversary Day

Well peeps, I've had a good Anniversary of coming home. The Roo is working on my puppy pictures. It was also very nice because I found out that my SAT prep course that I did with the Roo paid off. The dear girl got 2300 on the SAT. All because of my tutoring her I am sure!
I am an excellent Knowledge Transfer Specialist. That would be a teacher for those of you not in the know.

Well, I'd better go help the Roo with the pictures!

WWFN,
Rosie

Six years of fun!

Six years ago today, the family went to NJ and picked me up. What a great 6 years we've had so far! I remember how excited I was when they came and while my brothers and sisters ignored the family, I was wagging my tail and happy to see them.

Later today, the Roo is going to help me track down some pictures from my first days at home.

WWFN,

Rosie, who thinks that she chose her family very well indeed!

Cuteness

Here are some pictures of me. I've been busy, but don't have time to blog right now. Tigger was going to help me blog, but she needs to study for the silly old GRE.

So enjoy these old pictures!

Technological help needed!

Faithful readers! I need your techno advice! So, Tigger was attempting to put more pictures on the blog tonight and got a message saying that we're over the 1 GB storage limit. Is there a way to delete old pictures or something in order to get more space, or a way to store the pictures somewhere else online? (That is without paying google $2.49 a month, because they are probably already making enough money as it is!)

Or, does wordpress have more photo storage capabilites? (Update: It looks like WP does have 3 times the photo storage capacity. Does any one know if it's hard to switch over to wordpress?)

Thanks!

Rosie

The Halogens and Carbon-13

Note from Rosie: I decided that I wanted my sheep friends and Carbon-13 to make an appearance on the blog, but not being a weirdo like Tigger I wasn't able to figure out how to talk about them adequately, so the rest of this post is written by Tigger. Sorry folks.

So, Roo made me a set of 5 sheep and a cow because a.) she's very talented with her hands and b.) she's cool like that and c.) she thought it would be funny to indulge my wackiness. Or something like that.  The halogens are a special breed of sheep. Unlike most sheep, they do not eat grass or hay, but rather dine on electrons. Here they are in order from smallest to largest.

Fluorine:

The smallest of the sheep, but don't let that fool you! She's the most reactive one of the bunch, and is always hungry, especially for electrons. Occasionally called "Flossie" but only by the very brave. She's very bad at leaving though once she's arrived.

Chlorine:

A sweet amicable sheep who is the second smallest, although still significantly bigger than Fluorine. She is a more mild mannered ruminant and less inclined to react than Fluorine is. However when she hangs out with her good pal Sodium she gets a little bit salty. One of her favorite places to hang out is at the pool.

Bromine:

Always sporting a purple bow, Bromine is usually found low to the ground. She’s a calm, quiet sheep who is currently employed part time by a company that tests for the presence of alkenes, and she also works as a volunteer fire fighter.

Iodine:

Iodine is a modest, shy sheep, who usually allows the smaller sheep, especially Flossie, to boss her around a bit and even to take her electrons. You see, she is so big that she sometimes forgets where she puts them. Iodine, unlike Flossie, is excels at remembering when it’s time to leave. She is, simply put, a sublime specimen of a sheep.

Astatine:

What can we say about this kind sheep? A friendly, albeit rare sheep, she can be hard to find as she is often going about looking after the other sheep. She’s the quietest, most lumbering one of the bunch. She's very shy too, so most of what we know about her comes from extrapolation based on what the other sheep do.

After the Halogen family of sheep came to live with us, Roo decided that I needed a cow as well and so she made me one resembling the local “oreo cows”. However, this cow is special. In fact, one could say she’s 1 in 100 and she’s named Carbon-13. What makes her especially neat is that the black fur is from Rosie. She is currently employed by Nice Milk Rental (NMR) Inc.

Anyway, now that you’ve read this and are probably thoroughly convinced that Rosie lives with a pack of lunatics, of whom I (Tigger) am the chief, we can return to our regularly scheduled programming of Rosie posting about her life!

Note from Rosie: Well, I always knew she was weird, but I never knew she was THAT weird before!

LEFT BEHIND......AGAIN

Drat my plan to keep them home was foiled.!Wol was able to get the car going again and fix the wire I had loosened so off they went without me again!

Here they are having their high level meeting with the Governor of the First State of these United States of America.Sadly it was confirmed that the First BMD of the First State had passed away and has recently been replaced with a new to them dog,so I guesses I would not have gotten to see my possible Cousin anyways.

The Governor's Asst. like the back of the shirts so much that she wanted a picture with the Gov. and the back of their shirts.Roo is 99-do you get it?

Here is the First, but not last State House of the First State.

Something the First State is very famous for. Good Job Roo .I is As always very proud of you.WWFN,Rosie
