Howdy folks, Rosie the Historian here. You may or may not be aware of the fact that today, June 14th is Flag Day. You may or may not be wondering why we have a special day devoted to putting out flags. Well, it's like this. 65 years ago today this happened. :

And everyone was so happy that June 14th was declared to be Flag Day to celebrate! Well, at least that's what I say. Anyway, while sadly Grandaddy is not here to celebrate, I still say Happy Anniversary to the best Grams and Grandaddy in the world, and now you can feel very educated that you too know the real meaning behind Flag Day!
