I was thinking today about my other grandmother. Not Grams/Grandma who is my Beloved, but my other one. I never got to meet Grammy, but I bet that she would have liked me! I know that I would have liked her. In fact, I know that I would because she actually introduced the family to the wonderful world of Bernese Mountain Dogs when she gave Tigger Lily back at Christmas 2002. (Tigger's note: Lily's lived with us for going on 10 years?!?!?!?!?!?Wow! Time flies!) Tigger doesn't think that they family would have gotten a BMD if it wasn't for Lily, and if the family didn't get a BMD then they wouldn't have me (Don't know how they would survive without me to keep them in line...) What a horrible thought that I could have ended up with a different family! Also Grammy had a dog named Gretchen back when Owl was a pup so she would have liked me I know, even though Gretchen was a dachsund and I am not.

Lily and I. I am on the right. Yes, Lily is that big.

Lily and I again. I am in the foreground. Lily is taking a nap behind me.

Anyway, today is Grammy's 74th birthday and I was just thinking about her and how glad I am that she gave Tigger Lily, who inspired a love of BMDs.

Love and woofs,

Rosie

I'm sorry you never got to meet Grammy, Rosie. :(
May her memory be eternal!
