A Very Few Very Brief Announcements....

Not much of excitement has been happening lately in my life as a Rosie, so here are a funny rhyme, and something that Buffy used to do with the girls when Owl read to them at night.

Ladies and jellyspoons, I come before you to stand behind you to tell you of something I know nothing about. Next Thursday, which is Good Friday, there will be a ladies' aid meeting for men only. Admission is free, so please pay at the door, and please bring a chair to sit on the floor.
***********************************************************************************

I am about to make a very brief announcement. Pay close attention, or you may miss the announcement, and though brief, it is of the utmost importance. Are you all listening to me? Good. Now, be sure to listen carefully so you don't miss the very important brief announcement I'm about to make. You all need to focus, because this is a very important announcement, but it is brief, so you need to be careful not to miss it.  Now, you need to pay close attention and concentrate. Here's a moment to drag your focus back onto me. Are you listening? Good. Now, here's the announcement- listen carefully so you don't miss this LIFE CHANGING INFORMATION.   I'm cute.

I hope none of you missed my announcement because it was brief,  because I'm too exhausted to go through all of that again!
WWFN,
ROSIE
(Apologies to Buffy for borrowing her old comedy routine. :) )

Dear Rosie,

You are very cute. That was a good announcement. Did your snow melt already?

Hi Nikki,

Yes, it melted within about 2.5 days. This week it got to 65. I was very sad about that.

Love,
Rosie and her family!

The J-Momma used that spiel as a consequence at Cottey. The naughty freshman had to recite it before the students at supper one evening.

I knew Roo learned it from you, but I didn't know that story about it. :) I can't wait to see you and the J's when you come down next month!
Love,
Rosie
