I have been begging, Baby Celery has been smiling and Owl is out running which makes me very sad. Hope we can work out the picture prob!

My breakfast is behind schedule. This is not acceptable peeps! Well, in other news the piecrust is being rolled out for cranberry meringue pie, the tablecloth is going to be ironed and Baby Celery is screeching like a girl. The bird is supposed to hit the oven at 9 am. Will they make it on time? Stay tuned for the next thrilling update.

Just got back from walking Baby Celery. We had a slight disagreement about which way to go on the way back so I took Tigger through the woods and Daddy and Squawky Puppy went back by the road. Food updates: Breakfast was good. The turkey made it into the oven at 9:45 am. The cranberry meringue pie is done. Baby Celery was hungry and screeching like a girl after our walk and is now drinking his milk.

Something awful has happened. Wol and Tigger had the nerve to pull out the scary monster and vacuum. Can you believe it?! They even wanted to vacuum up all of my lovely fur that I was using to decorate the rugs! I hate to say it, but I think my humans lack taste at times. On the bright side, the turkey is smelling delicious and the stuffing is ready. The only things left to do are bake the yummy rolls (I LOVE bread products) and cook up the green beans. Squawky Puppy had another snack and story time, and now he's napping on his Mama. Can't wait to eat!!!

Tigger jumping in to give an update. The BMD just did NOT win the working group at the National Dog Show. Rosie will be crushed when she gets back from another walk with the Baby Celery. You can watch the BMD here.

Rosie here again. Back from the walk. The BMDs have been ROBBED of the working group win!!!!! It ought to be clear to anyone that we're deserving of best in show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A happier update : The turkey smells AMAZING! The tables are being set. Squawky Puppy is snoozing and the sun is shining. We BMDs find it hard to be in the dumps for long. Most of the time.

All except Aunt J-Dog are here. Turkey is out and getting ready to be hacked into. Some of the peeps went on a walk to the pond.

Wow!  A lot has happened in the last few hours.  Auntie J finally made it after 4 hours in the car.  I didn't have time to update that because it was time to eat right after she arrived.  All the humans had a very nice meal, then I went out with cousin R, Roo, Tigger and Auntie J fora rousing round of soccer and stick.  Then, Oh Joyful Day, it was time for MY dinner!!!!  I had chicken (I'm allergic to turkey), sweet potatoes, stuffing, corn pudding, jello salad, cranberries, rolls and green beans.  I had a leisurely meal, taking a full 45 seconds to eat it all up.  Now we're all having quiet time in the play room before dessert - evidently there is no chocolate on the dessert menu, so I'm really looking forward to dessert (dinner was a full 10 minutes ago).

Soporific Time!  I'm curled up on my bed for a rest, and Uncle L is out cold in the chair.  The rest of the family is getting ready to look at old family slides from Grams' collection.  Evidently I am not in these.

I'm watching the slides and I have to say that Kanga was a very cute little girl.  I'm not sure why nobody in the pictures looks like me, though.  Oh, there's Kanga riding a horse.

Oh My, I Love Pie!  I had a small slice each of pumpkin, cranberry meringue and apple pie.  Life is gooood!  I'm not sure which is best - I'll have to sample them again : )

The southern contingent left about 20 minutes ago. Grams and Aunt J are still here. Auntie J is staying the night! SLUMBER PARTY!!!!!!!!

Forgot to add in the last update. Tigger, Roo, and Cousin R went outside and were playing bunyup in the dark when a state trooper drove by. He slowed WAAAAAAAAAy down when he saw some kids running around in the dark with sheets and flashlights!
