*Male announcer: Wow! Rosie has won her 4th gold medal of these games! That's one gold medal for each of the four sports she's competed in! That is a new world record! We're sending it down to Andy Joy on the floor with Rosie.*
Andie Joy: Wow! 4 separate competitions, 4 gold medals. How does it feel to be the only Olympian competing in four different sports?
Rosie (panting slightly): Yeah, it's really an honor. I mean, out of all these thousands of athletes, to be the one who does the most, it's just really incredible.
AJ: Well, Rosie, I understand that you've overcome some challenges to get here.
R (still panting): Well, of course, every Olympian has challenges that they have to overcome.
For me, there have been some major ones. First of all, I have to endure regular torture in the form of baths.
Roo says I had Justin Bieber hair (ew!) going on for a minute there. I TOLD YOU THIS IS TORTURE!!!!!!!!
Look how pathetic I am...
Rescue me, please
I go running through deep snow
And in wintry mix
*cue Rocky music*
Now, as you know, diet is very important for us athletes. I have to eat a lot, but my nutritionists say that I can't eat too many treats. Aren't they mean?
AJ: *wipes away tear* Rosie, that is so moving. Thank you for sharing that story.
Thanks to my training diet, I'm not allowed to eat the box all at once.
*cuts to studio where Bob Costas is sitting at a desk*
Bob Costas: Well, from the squirrelput field, we have that moving story, reminding us of all the sacrifices that athletes pour into getting to the Olympics. Coming up later...
*Olympic anthem plays*
I hope you enjoyed my interview!
Lots of love,
Rosie:)
